Start your adventure at our home base and set off over Hobart in style. This flight takes you over Hobart’s famous waterfront, following the Tasman Bridge by air, before allowing you to take in the grandeur of Mt Wellington/Kunanyi. The flight then continues on, allowing you to experience the scenery of our Coal River Valley Region from air, before settling down at Puddleduck Vineyard. Puddleduck Vineyard is a family owned and run winery nestled in the Coal River Valley. With extensive experience in Tasmania’s wine industry, Jackie and Darren of Puddleduck have a philosophy of making great wine, not lots of it. You can choose to order from their “Pecking” menu, or if it’s a nice day why not "Reverse BYO"® and bring your own picnic food* to enjoy in their outdoor areas. The vineyard is home to many feathered friends, so take the opportunity to feed the ducks and learn why the guinea fowl are so important. Perfect for anything from a long lunch, to celebrations or special occasions, made all the more memorable with a spectacular entrance.

Why not add on a Vineyard and Winery Tour for an additional $75 per person, which includes a tour of the vineyard and winery plus a premium seated wine tasting experience. These tours run daily at 10:30 am & 2:30 pm.

Please note: Lunch is not included in this price. All food, wine and tastings (if not doing the vineyard tour) can be ordered directly at the cellar door in person.
*If choosing to bring your own food for the Reverse BYO® option all beverages are to be purchased at Puddleduck.

This tour is one way, with return trip in our vehicle included.

Tasmania is free from phylloxera and one of the only regions in the world still growing Pinot Noir on its original root stock. A foot bath will be provided for shoe cleaning prior to boarding the aircraft.
